She got discovered quite by chance in 2003, when she and some friends were sun-bathing on the beach in Bournemouth, near her home town of Winchester. She was spotted by freelance photographer Lee Earle and he persuaded her to do a photographic session, a result of which was a modelling contract with the Daily Star newspaper.
